How I Got Here

As an undergraduate, I earned a double major in English and French at the University of California, Santa Barbara and gradated with honors. I recently completed an MPhil in Medieval Literature at the University of Oxford. I have also taken several courses in journalism, writing/editing, SEO, and other related subjects. As a graduate student I contributed to several student publications, including The Oxford Blue, The Oxford Student, and Cherwell. Now I am a staff writer for Screen Rant; I also write All Things Abby, my personal Substack, and accept other freelance jobs.

I enjoy writing about literature, film, theatre, and travel, as well as reviewing fictional stories in any form. I have explored this enthusiasm for storytelling, travel, and culture by writing about independent businesses and entrepreneurs around the globe, as well as theatre, cinema, and literature. I have also visited many major cities in the United States and Europe.
